Beam’s SC200 electric central vacuum package comes equipped with a 550 air watt motor which allows it clean homes up to 2500 square feet. Also included in this package is an electrified hose kit which is ideal for homes with a mix between carpeting and barefloor surfaces. The soft start motor in the SC200 will help to prevent premature wear as it starts slowly and takes a few seconds to reach full power. To collect all of the dirt and debris the 15 litre receptacle can be used as a bagless system or disposable paper bags can be adapted for use in the machine. The receptacle detaches from the machine with the use of two clamps. For easier maintenance the SC200 utilizes the Gore Tex™ self-cleaning filter which does not need to be cleaned or replaced during the lifetime of the machine.
The Butler’s Choice central vacuum hose kit comes with an electrified power head which has a rotating agitator driven by a non-slip belt requiring very little maintenance. Typically a 30′ hose is long enough to reach all areas of the home on a standard central vacuum rough in, and the swivel in the hose handle helps to prevent tangles and splitting. The 3 way switch allows you to turn the suction on and off directly at the hose handle, and does not start the suction when the hose is plugged into the central vacuum inlet. The crush proof vinyl makes the hose light in weight, and does not deform if it is pinched or stepped on. To prevent accidental damage to furniture and baseboards we do recommend using a central vacuum hose cover with this package.
